For children and the "young at heart"
At Søhøjlandets Camping, we love cozy moments with family and great experiences in nature.
Here, there are two different playgrounds to enjoy: one for all ages with a jumping pillow, climbing structures, hammocks, etc., and one designed for our youngest guests.
Strength and balance can be practiced on our parkour facility, you can take a dip in the Gudenå River at our small beach, and many hours can be spent in peaceful interaction with our friendly farm animals.
Lake District Søhøjlandet
On the Jutlandic ridge lies Søhøjlandet, a hilly area where forests, hills, and lakes compete for space and attention.
Between the hills runs the Gudenå River, which at over 140 km is Denmark's longest river - indeed, a river, not just a stream. Gudenåen is known for its picturesque landscapes, clear water, and rich flora and fauna. Experience the Gudenå River by canoe, kayak, or perhaps a stand-up paddleboard.
In the area, you'll also find some of Denmark's best mountain bike trails. If you prefer to keep "both wheels or feet on the ground," don't despair. There are cycling and hiking paths for many hours of exploration.
